Presided over by Prof. Davari Ardakani, the General Assembly of the Academy sat for its 134th meeting on Thursday, May 11th.
Following the approval of the previous meeting's minutes, the proposal of Prof. Hamid Reza Pooretemad’s mmembership as a fellow, the proposal of associate membership of Prof. Ebrahim Beigzadeh for a four-year term and the proposal of extending the associate membership of. Mohammad Ashouri for a further four-year term were approved by written vote.
Afterwards, the proposals of associate membership of Prof. Khashayar Karimian and Prof. Mehran Habibi Rezaei for a four-year term were approved by written vote.
Moreover, the extension of the associate memberships of Prof. Mehdi Sohrabi, Prof. Jalal Shaygan and Prof. Hamid Soltanianzadeh were also extended for a further four-year term.
