The Second National Congress of Higher Education was held at the University of Tehran on May 4^th.  

 Prof. Mahmood Nilil Ahmadabadi, president of the University of Tehran, welcomed the guests and participants. Then, Profs. Bagher Larijani, Mojtaba Shariati Niasar, Reza Davari Ardakani and Fakhrodin Danesh Ashtiani delivered speeches.

In this event, sixteen distinguished professors were honored as the most prestigious educators of the country.    

In the second part of the congress, five lectures were delivered by the university professors. Then, the statement of the congress was read.
