The first issue of the journal dealt with science in general while the second issue focuses on mathematical sciences.
The journal contains an editorial and twelve articles contributed by Iranian mathematicians. These articles embrace topics such as philosophy of mathematics, its history and current status in the country and horizon ahead of mathematics in Iran.
The journal also includes a report on a roundtable chaired by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal and attended by the Iranian professors of mathematics. The subjects discussed in the roundtable comprise the history of mathematics from the beginning, its transition to Islamic world and compilation of mathematics books as well as the establishment of mathematics in Iran as a field.
