On Sunday, February 7, the top research projects of the 34^th Khwarizmi International Award (KIA) and the 22^nd Khwarizmi Youth Award were introduced and the researchers were honored in the presence of the Minister of Science, Research and Technology.

Prof. Yousef Sobouti was selected as the Top Special Awardee in the 34^th KIA and was honored for the project on the “Lasting Role in the Development of Education and Research”. Prof. Sobouti is a fellow of the Academy and professor at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, Zanjan.
