The Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy held semi-virtually the Sixth Honoring Ceremony of the Outstanding Engineers in Agriculture and Natural Resources of the country on Monday, February 8th.
In this event, the Academy honored the following six outstanding engineers in Agriculture and Natural Resources, selected by the Academy in 2020:
- Dr. Javad Vafabakhsh
- Prof. Hasan Fazeli
- Eng. Abbas Zare
- Eng. Houshang Bahrami
- Dr. Ali Asghar Zeinanloo
- Eng. Mohammad Gorgij Jaski
The audience comprised university professors and members of the research institutes, experts and administrative authorities in the field of Agriculture and Natural Resources, a number of authorities and fellows of the Academy and the selected engineers in 2020.
Prof. Abbas Sharifi Tehrani, chairman of the Department, secretary, research advisor, a number of fellows of the Academy and the 6 awardees delivered lectures. Moreover, Prof. Reza Davari Ardakani, president of the Academy, in a short message, congratulated the awardees and wished them success in their academic endeavors throughout their lives.
