In January 2022, Prof. Gevork Gharehpetian was chosen as a Featured IEEE author of the month for his work on "Improvement of the Frequency Control of Multi-microgrids in Distribution Networks". He is Professor of Electrical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, guest scholar of the Division of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Department of Engineering Sciences of the Academy and one of the outstanding researchers in the field of smart grids and power systems
