The winter issue (No. 4) of "Nameye Oloom Paye" specialized quarterly is published by the Department of Basic Sciences of the Academy.
This quarterly publishes educational and research issues in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, earth and life sciences. It prioritizes the basic issues and challenges in the fields of basic sciences, educational and research policies, raising the level of knowledge and research in the country, promoting the level of communication between scientists of basic sciences and other scientific fields and society as a whole. It develops the attitude of integrated sciences and interdisciplinary activities, disciplines while explaining the importance of these attitudes in solving contemporary problems of society and sustainable development.
The journal contains an editorial, Prof. Sobouti’s speech on the occasion of the World Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development 2022, and 27 articles contributed by academics and researchers in the field of basic sciences.
At the end of this quarterly, the following three books have also been reviewed and introduced:
"A Brief Overview of the Book Physics in Iran: Past and Present ", " Artificial Biology of Yeasts" and "Teaching Courage: A Journey into the World inside the Teacher".
The Academy of Sciences of IR Iran is the concessionaire, Prof. Mehdi Zare is the managing director and Prof. Ali Farazmand is the editor-in-chief of the journal. The editorial board is composed of Prof. Masood Ariannejad, Prof. Hashem Rafiee Tabar and Prof. Ahmad Shabani.
