Presided over by Prof. Ali Akbar Salehi, the second strategic meeting of the Think Tanks of the Academy was held on Sunday, January 22nd. The attendees consisted of the secretary of the Academy, planning consultant of the Academy, chairmen and the members of the six Think Tanks of the Academy.
The Academy has six Think Tanks as follows:
Water Think Tank (Chairman: Prof. Farhoodi)
Quantum Technologies Think Tank (Chairman: Prof. Jawad Salehi)
Natural Hazards Think Tank (Chairman: Prof. Ahmadi)
Climate Changes and Environment Think Tank (Chairman: Prof. Tajrishi)
Economic Challenges Think Tank (Chairman: Prof. Mahdavi)
Social Issues Think Tank (Chairman: Prof. Moeedfar)
At first, Prof. Ali Akbar Salehi welcomed the attendees and thanked the measures taken and emphasized the importance of the activities of the Think Tanks. He considered it important to promote and publish these activities and turn them into a public demand.
Prof. Semnanian, in turn, thanked the activities of the Think Tanks members and the workgroups of the Think Tanks. Then, the chairmen of each Think Tank presented the measures taken.
At the concluding part of the meeting, the participants discussed and exchanged views. Several suggestions were also made such as holding more and longer similar meetings, reflecting the activities carried out in video networks and preparing a topical podcast for each Think Tank.
