The Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy held the Eighth Honoring Ceremony of the Outstanding Engineers in Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Country on Wednesday, March 1st.
At the beginning, Prof. Sharifi Tehrani, chairman of the Department, welcomed the attendees and presented a report on the history of the Department. He stated that the Department of Agricultural Sciences started its activities in 1991. Presently it has 77 fellows, associate fellows and invited scholars who are prominent professors and scientists of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the country. The Department makes every effort to advance the goals of the Academy. Prof. Sharifi Tehrani also pointed to the process of selecting the winners. while congratulating the awardees of 2023, he thanked the president and the Board of Directors of the Academy for supporting the organization of this ceremony.
In this event, Prof. Reza Davari Ardakani, Prof. Ali Akbar Salehi, Prof. Ali Reza Sepaskhah, Prof. Amin Alizadeh, Prof. Iraj Malekmohammadi and the six awardees also delivered brief lectures.
At the end, the Academy honored the following outstanding engineers in Agriculture and Natural Resources and gave them Tablets of Appreciation:
