We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our distinguished colleague professor Wilfred Madelung.

 He was a great scholar and his contributions to the Islamic studies  will always be remembered. His loss is not only a great loss for his family but also for the entire academic fraternity.

Late professor Wilfred  Madelung , was a remarkable individual who dedicated his life to the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. His work has been an inspiration to many and has left a lasting impact on the field of Islamic studies. His research and publications have been instrumental in shaping the way we understand and approach various issues in our society.

It is truly difficult to express the magnitude of the loss that we have suffered with his passing. His absence will be felt deeply by all those who knew him and had the privilege of working with him. We can only hope to honor his legacy by continuing to pursue knowledge and excellence in our respective fields.

We offer my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May they find solace in the memories of his remarkable life and the impact he had on so many people's lives. We will always remember him as a great scholar and a wonderful human being.
