Regarding the advisory view of the Council of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy, Prof. Mokhber Dezfouli has appointed Prof. Hassan Ahmadi as the new chairman of the Department of Agricultural Sciences for a two-year term. Prof. Mokhber Dezfouli expressed his gratitude to Prof. Sharifi Tehrani, former chairman of the Department, for his efficient services during his term.
Born in 1943 in Damghan, Prof. Hassan Ahmadi holds a PhD in Watershed Management from the University of Bordeaux, France. He is currently a full professor at the University of Tehran. Prof. Ahmadi has been a fellow of the Academy since 2009. He was the chairman of the Division of Range and Watershed Management, Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy, for several terms.
