With reference to the recent article of Stanford University focusing on the updated data of the databases and the standardized indexes of highly cited authors and based on the results of the recent ranking of Elsevier Data Repository, Prof. Mohammad Reza Shams Ardekani, secretary of the Academy of Sciences of IR Iran, is named in the world’s top 2% of the most cited scientists in October 2023.

Prof. Shams Ardekani is the professor of pharmacy at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, a fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences as well as an associate fellow of the Academy of Sciences.
