On Thursday, January 11th, the first meeting with future researchers of the country was held at the Academy by the secretariat of the Foresight Council with the presence of a group of professors, faculty members of universities and scientific centers, and futures studies’ graduates. The aim is expanding scientific ties and cooperation on a national scale.
At first, Prof. Naser Bagheri Moghaddam, the secretary of the Council, welcomed the guests. Then, the secretariat colleagues of the Council presented a report on the activities of the Council and the objectives of the meeting. Afterwards, in the discussion and exchange of opinions with the audience, various topics were raised as follows: pathology of the opportunities and challenges of futures studies in the country, creating and establishing a network of future researchers and how to interact and cooperate with future researchers as well as scientific and executive institutions of the country. Finally, it was decided to hold such meetings regularly to create a network of future researchers of the country.
