The Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy held a lecture and roundtable on "Plastics and Their Destructive Effects on Agriculture and Environment" on Wednesday, January 27th, 2024.
The meeting was welcomed by Prof. Hassan Ahmadi, chairman of the Department of Agricultural Sciences and the speech of the scientific secretary of the meeting, Prof. Mohammad Shahedi, chairman of the Division of Food Industry of the Department on the importance of plastics and their destructive effects on agriculture and the environment.
The titles of the other lectures delivered at the meeting are as follows:
- Plastics and Their Destructive Effects on Agriculture and Environment, Prof. Zahra Emam-Djomeh, invited scholar of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy as well as a professor at the University of Tehran
- Hidden Dangers of Plastic Packages: Semi-hidden Danger, Prof. Mehdi Kadivar, associate member of the Department of Agricultural Sciences and a professor at the Isfahan University of Technology
