Chaired by Prof. Mokhber Dezfouli, the 139th General Assembly of the Academy was held on Thursday, May 9th with the presence of Prof. Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology as well as fellows of the Academy.
At first, Prof. Mokhber Dezfouli, welcomed the attendees and offered condolences on the occasion of the demise of Prof. Abbas Sharifi Tehrani, Prof. Parviz Davoodi and Prof. Fathollah Moztarzadeh, the late fellows of the Academy. Then, he congratulated the Decade of Dignity by honoring the Teacher's Day.
In this meeting, while presenting a short report, Prof. Morteza Kariminia, associate fellow of the Department of Islamic Sciences, dedicated a volume of Mushaf Sharif Razavi to the president of the Academy.
Finally, the proposal of associate memberships of the following professors at the Academy for a four-year term were raised. After introducing them and their activities by the chairmen of the relevant scientific departments, their memberships were discussed, decided upon and approved by a majority of written votes:
