The Department of Basic Sciences of the Academy held a one-day seminar on the Challenges of the Graduate Courses in Mathematical Sciences and Physics on January 12. In this seminar, a number of fellows, associate fellows and invited scholars of the Divisions of Mathematics and Physics of the Academy, professors of some universities and some graduate students were present.

The following scholars delivered lectures in the seminar: Dr. Ali Reza Bagheri Sales, Prof. Reza Ameri, Dr. Asadollah Asraei, Dr. Ali Akbar Abolhassani, Dr. Seyed Sadegh Movahed, Prof. Hossein Haji Abolhassan, Dr. Eaman Eftekhary, Prof. Hashem Rafii Tabar, Dr. Seyed Mehdi Seyyedi, and Prof. Mokhtar Jalali.
