The 117^th meeting of the General Assembly of the Academy was held on March 9^th which was chaired by Prof. Reza Davari Ardakani. The audience included the fellows of the Academy.  

 In this meeting, the associate membership of Prof. Abbas Manoochehri was considered and approved by ballot for a four-year term. Moreover, the associate memberships of Prof. Abbas Shakeri and Prof. Reza Faraji Dana were extended for a further four-year term.

At the end, Prof. Yousef Sobouti delivered a lecture relating to Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Then, the audience exchanged views on the environment issues of the country.
